McDonald's diversity officer speaks at SC school

ORANGEBURG, S.C. (AP) - The chief diversity officer for McDonald's Corp. is addressing the 500 graduates at South Carolina State University.

Commencement exercises are scheduled for Friday evening at Oliver C. Dawson Stadium at the Orangeburg school.

Patricia Harris is responsible for developing and putting into effect diversity programs for the corporation that includes more than 31,000 restaurants in 118 countries.
