CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) - A group of firefighters candidates is training on the South Carolina coast and reporters will have a chance to see them go through their classes.
Charleston firefighters will train at the city facility on Thursday and reporters have been invited to see them in action. The Charleston Fire Department says the 37 recruits comprise the city's largest class of recruits.
The recruits graduate in July and will be certified as firefighters, emergency medical technicians and in hazardous material operations.
