SUMMERVILLE, SC (WCSC) -Summerville Police are looking for two men accused of looking the other way while a man was stabbed inside a car.
Chaz Brown, 23 and William Evans, 25 are wanted on charges of accessory after the fact in connection with last December's attack.
"The victim in this case had cashed a check and they had come over to another area of town and ended up getting robbed at knife point, stabbed, his watch stolen, his cash stolen," said Summerville Police Capt. Jon Rogers.
Police say the victim managed to get away. "They just stopped the attack and he managed to break free and get away," said Rogers.
Rogers said the victim may have been setup. "They knew they were going to take this gentleman to cash a check and they knew he had a substantial amount of money on him."
Detectives say the victim couldn't identify the man who stabbed him because he only knows him by his street name.
Brown stands 5'6" and weighs about 155 lbs. Evans stands 5'10" and weighs about 130 pounds. Police say both men may be staying in Charleston or Hanahan.
