CAYCE, S.C. (AP) - South Carolina Treasurer Converse Chellis is getting together with Carolina Panthers running back DeAngelo Williams to help educate high school students about financial literacy.
Chellis and Williams will be at Brookland Cayce High School in Cayce on Friday for the launch of "Financial Football."
The NFL-themed interactive game is being distributed to students around South Carolina to help teach them how to manage their money wisely. There's also a classroom component to the program.
Williams is expected to share his personal experiences with money management. Visa Inc. is also donating 10 Apple MacBooks to Brookland Cayce so students can play the game.
