$2,000 reward offered for information involving kitten tossed from bridge

MT. PLEASANT, SC (WCSC) - Mt. PLEASANT, SC (WCSC) - Police are still looking for the person who threw a kitten off the Arthur Ravenel Bridge Wednesday morning.

A $1,000 reward offered by a local woman was doubled Friday by the Pet Helpers of James Island and the Charleston Animal Society. The reward is now $2,000 for information linked to the incident.

The kitten was found on Waterfront Park around 8:30 a.m. Wednesday and had to be put down as a result of the fall from the bridge.
