ATLANTIC BEACH, S.C. (AP) - Most of the motorcycles are gone after the Atlantic Beach Bikefest wrapped up on the South Carolina coast.
Multiple media outlets reported many of the bikers were gone by midmorning on Memorial Day.
Some of the vendors at the festival say they lost money because of declining sales of T-shirts, CDs and accessories.
Atlantic Beach Town Manager William Booker says he doesn't know how many vendors bought the $950 license to sell at the festival.
But Booker says the vendors he talked with reported good crowds and good sales.
Booker says T-shirt sales might have been down for vendors because so many people were selling the shirts. He says those offering motorcycle repairs and equipment did well.
There were no official counts of the number of bikers on hand for the event.
