Sen. Graham, tea partiers exchange words in Bluffton

BLUFFTON, SC (WTOC) - There were some mixed emotions as members of the Tea Party Patriots welcomed Senator Lindsey Graham in Bluffton.

It was all a part of a protest rally. A huge crowd filled the Bluffton Library to talk about the issues. It was an open discussion.  The senator spoke and took questions from the audience.

The topic getting the most attention was illegal immigration. Most in the crowd were against amnesty for illegals.

"I promise you I will not work with anyone, Democrat or Republican, to do a damn thing on immigration until we secure our border," Graham said.

Graham also spoke out against cap and trade and the current health care reform.
