EASLEY, S.C. (AP) - Two South Carolina teens have died when the car they were in ran off a road on a curve and into a ditch.
Multiple media outlets reported the wreck happened in Pickens County early Wednesday morning near U.S. 123.
Coroner Kandy Kelley says the victims were 18-year-old Cameron Shawn Mays and 18-year-old Denzel Akeem Manning, both of Easley. Kelley says both teens were wearing shoulder straps, but not lap belts.
Highway Patrol Lance Cpl. Scot Edgeworth says the car apparently ran off the right edge of the road, then crossed to the left side and flipped into the ditch and hit a culvert.
