Police investigate 2 downtown Charleston shootings

CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - Charleston police are investigating two downtown Charleston shootings.

The first happened around 6:15 p.m. Sunday at Huguenin and North Romney. According to a police department spokesman, three people were taken to the Medical University of South Carolina with non-life threatening injuries.

Approximately 15 minutes later, another man was shot near 136 North Romney Street. His injuries are also non-life threatening.

Police are still trying to determine if the shootings are connected.
