COLLETON COUNTY, SC (WCSC) -State probation and parole agents are looking for 33 year old Joseph Duncan.

Duncan is wanted for a probation violating stemming from a conviction for lewd act on a minor.

"He quit reporting through his probation officer in making the necessary contacts and counseling and things of that nature," said probation and parole agent Jay Lemacks

Duncan also is wanted by the Colleton County Sheriff's Office for failing to register as sex offender.

"He has a prior conviction for failing to register and now has a new warrant by the sheriff's department for failing to register," said Lemacks.

Probation agents have been looking for Duncan since July of last year.

"That tells me that we need to locate him as soon as possible to get him in jail," said Lemacks. "I believe he's a danger to the community based on his prior record."

Duncan stands 6'0" and weighs about 160 lbs. He has tribal art tattoos and a dragon tattoo on his left arm.
