SC, federal authorities discussing mortgage fraud

FLORENCE, S.C. (AP) - South Carolina's top federal and state law enforcement leaders are making an announcement about an investigation into mortgage fraud in the state.

U.S. Attorney Bill Nettles and officials from the FBI, IRS, U.S. Secret Service and the U.S. Postal Inspector are holding a news conference in Florence Thursday to talk about the state's involvement in a nationwide mortgage fraud sweep.

State Law Enforcement Division Chief Reggie Lloyd is also expected to be on hand.
