Sheriff's office tracking dog goes missing

MONCKS CORNER, SC (WCSC) — The Berkeley County Sheriff's office is looking for one of its tracking dogs.

The 3-year-old bloodhound is named Red and he dug his way out of a kennel in the Fairlawn Barony subdivision in Moncks Corner early Tuesday morning.

The dog's handler and other deputies have spent much of the day looking for the tracking dog.

The dog is red and weighs about 95 pounds. He is wearing an orange collar that says he belongs to the sheriff's office.
