CONWAY, S.C. (AP) - Faculty members from a South Carolina university will lead a forum on the potential dangers of the Gulf of Mexico oil spill to the state's coast.
Oil Spill 101 is scheduled for Thursday. It features faculty from Coastal Carolina University speaking at the conference center of the Myrtle Beach campus of Horry-Georgetown Tech.
Speakers discuss such things as the possibility that oil could make it to the South Carolina coast as well as the impact of oil spills on fish and wildlife.
The speakers hold a question & answer session after the presentations.
