CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - Charleston County sheriff's deputies arrested two men in connection to a string of vehicle break-ins.
Jonathan Wireman-Ridge, 27, and Adam Lee Howard, 28, both of Summerville are charged with seven counts of breaking into a motor vehicle.
Charleston County sheriff's deputies responded to the Buckshire Subdivision on Monday in reference to seven vehicle break-ins. While conducting their investigation deputies observed a suspicious vehicle in the subdivision and conducted a traffic stop. As the deputies approached the vehicle they observed one of the passengers attempting to hide something between the seats of the vehicle.
The items, credit cards and gift cards, were recovered and connected to the previously-reported vehicle break-ins. Howard and Wireman-Ridge will have a bond hearing Thursday. The investigation is ongoing.
