Heat factored into death of moving company worker

CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - Hot temperatures across the region resulted in the death of a moving company worker from Connecticut.

Jonathan LaPointe, a 32-year-old man from Meriden, Connecticut became over heated while on the job working for a moving company. LaPointe passed out and then had a cardiac episode.

A heat advisory is in effect for the Friday afternoon and early evening.
