Summerville store sells winning $300,000 lottery ticket

SUMMERVILLE, SC (WCSC) - A Summerville grocery store sold a winning Palmetto Cash 5 lottery ticket for last Friday night's drawing. The $300,000 prize has not been claimed.

The South Carolina Education Lottery ticket matched all five numbers and the Power-Up to claim the $300,000 top prize. The winning numbers were 7, 9, 31, 36 and 38.  The Power-Up multiplier was 3, which tripled the $100,000 prize.

The Piggly Wiggly #9 on Bacons Bridge Road in Summerville sold the ticket for the June 25 Palmetto Cash 5 drawing. More than 4,400 tickets were winners with prizes from $1 up to the $300,000 top prize.

Players should check their numbers carefully. The winning $300,000 ticket holder purchased Power-Up and multiplied the $100,000 top prize by three. The prize can be claimed at a SCEL Claims Center in Greenville, Mount Pleasant or Columbia.
