SCDOT seeks input on Georgetown drainage project

GEORGETOWN, SC (WMBF) - Proposed drainage improvements along a stretch of US-17 in Georgetown County has the South Carolina Department of Transportation seeking public input on the project.

The agency has scheduled an informational meeting on July 6 concerning the US-17 and Georgetown City Hall drainage project from 4-6 p.m. The meeting, to be held at the Georgetown Law Enforcement Center, will be open to the public.

Officials will present further information on the project at 6:30 p.m. The public will have the opportunity to offer insight on the project both before and after the scheduled presentation.
