LANCASTER, S.C. (AP) - Authorities are trying to figure out what killed two sisters found dead sitting on a couch in their tiny South Carolina home.
Authorities told The Herald of Rock Hill that the bodies of 55-year old Peggy Small and 51-year-old Gail Patterson were found in Lancaster County on Sunday after their family and friends hadn't heard from them for six days.
Coroner Mike Morris says preliminary autopsy results ruled out foul play, but a cause of death hasn't been determined.
Deputies say the sisters moved in together a few weeks ago and a relative told investigators 1 of the woman had talked about killing herself.
A friend told authorities he last talked to Patterson on June 29 when she asked him to bring her food and cigarettes.
