CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - The store manager at the Bi-Lo on Folly Road is looking for a stolen shopping cart scooter.
According to police, the manager said that between 6 and 9 p.m. Wednesday, he noticed an unknown person remove a scooter from the premises.The scooter is valued at $2,000.
The manager conducted a search of the store parking lot, but called Charleston police after he could not find the scooter.
The responding police officer conducted a search of the surrounding neighborhood, but also could not locate the scooter.
The manager said the scooter is extremely slow and he does not believe it can travel far on a single charge.
