2 SC woman killed when their cars collide

LONGS, S.C. (AP) - Two South Carolina women have died after their cars collided on a rural South Carolina road.

Horry County Coroner Robert Edge told multiple media outlets that 78-year-old Ealer Mae Butler Watson and 20-year-old Jaquinta T. Brown died Saturday when their cars crashed near Longs in the northeast corner of the state. Both women were dead when authorities arrived on the scene.

Police said Watson was driving north on the road and Brown was driving south.

No other people were involved in the crash.
