FLORENCE, SC (WMBF) - Bond has been set at $200,000 for a woman accused of stabbing her grandparents inside of their Florence home Tuesday night.
Florence Police were dispatched to an address on Wenonah Drive in Florence around 7 p.m. Tuesday after receiving reports of a stabbing. Upon arrival, police say they found two people suffering from stab wounds.
EMS transported the two victims, who have not been identified, to a Pee Dee hospital to receive medical treatment. Their conditions have not been released.
Myra Grainger, the granddaughter of the victims, was later arrested and charged with two counts of attempted murder in connection to the stabbing.
Maj. Carlos Raines, spokesman for the Florence Police Department, said Grainger's bond was set at $100,000 per charge. Grainger has also been ordered not to contact the victims.
Grainger will be assigned a public defender and appear in court in September.
