BERKELEY COUNTY, SC (WCSC) - Two men previously arrested as part of a burglary ring in Berkeley County were arrested again and charged with burglary in Orangeburg County.
The brothers, Tillman Harmon, 37, Rex Harmon, 23, were also arrested for receiving and possessing stolen goods. Tillman Harmon's bond was set at $2,500. He posted bond.
His brother's bond was set at $5,000. He is still behind bars, officials said.
Both men were charged with 3rd degree burglary and grand larceny. Rex Harmon is still being held on an outstanding warrant from Dorchester County.
In July, four men -- including the Harmon brothers -- were arrested in connection to a Berkeley County burglary ring. Deputies logged at least 20 victims who had everything from power tools to cars and even a boat stolen.
Jonathan Loren Haynes, 20, and his brother Matthew Allan Craven, 23, were being held at the Hill Finklea Detention Center. They were arrested for possession and grand larceny of a stolen vehicle.
Detective Sgt. B.R. Schuler says these brothers are responsible for stealing everything from power tools to cars and boats from at least 20 different victims in Berkeley County, many of whom are their own neighbors.
They had a bond hearing in July, but are being held pending other warrants.
Schuler says they've been stealing this merchandise since March.
Neighbors who live in the Summerville neighborhood where Haynes and Craven live say they've been living in fear that their house could be hit next, and they're glad to see them off the streets.
