MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (AP) - Police have charged a South Carolina man who reported being injured in a home invasion with drug trafficking.
The Sun News of Myrtle Beach reported Saturday that 38-year-old Patrick Dalhouse remained at the Horry County jail charged with trafficking cocaine. The jail had no information about whether Dalhouse has an attorney.
Myrtle Beach police Capt. David Knipes said in a news release that officers responded to a report of a home invasion Wednesday during which Dalhouse was shot in the hand. Dalhouse was charged after officers say they found cocaine during their investigation.
