COTTAGEVILLE, SC (WCSC) - A woman was arrested for manufacturing methamphetamine in her Cottageville home the day after authorities arrested another person on domestic violence and kidnapping charges who lived at the home.
Candace Darnell, 37, was taken into custody early Tuesday morning at her Pierce Road home.
Authorities uncovered materials to make meth including burners, fuel, rubber tubing, peroxide, evidence of broken batteries and coffee filters. They also found a number of used syringes and straws for snorting meth.
The day before, Paul Harris Sweat was arrested at the same residence and charged with criminal domestic violence and kidnapping. He will now face additional charges of manufacturing meth.
Both suspects are being housed in the Colleton County Detention Center and will likely face a bond court judge Tuesday night.
