Bond set for woman leaving baby in car outside Wal-Mart

GOOSE CREEK, SC (WCSC) - A Goose Creek woman appeared in bond court Saturday morning for leaving her 17-month-old child in a car alone while she was shopping Friday.

Brienne Shaneyfelt, 20, bond was set at $10,000 for unlawful conduct toward a child and $1,952 for possession of drug paraphernalia.

Shaneyfelt was arrested outside the Goose Creek Wal-Mart after passers-by alerted police to a small child inside a car around 11:40 a.m. Friday.

She was being held at the Hill Finkla Detention Center in Berkeley County and has posted bond on Saturday.
