CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - Charleston Police have one suspect in custody after he allegedly robbed a man at gunpoint and forced him to strip before fleeing the scene Friday.
According to the police report, the victim was approached by five black men after leaving a friend's apartment in the Bridgeview Apartments on Romney Street. The suspects took the victim's cell phone and keys, then forced the man to strip to his underwear. The suspects took the victim's clothing and fled on foot.
Police have arrested Miguel G. Shine, 18, and have charged him with armed robbery and possession of a firearm during the commission of a violent crime. Shine is being held at the Charleston County Detention Center.
