Folly Beach police investigating hit-and-run

FOLLY BEACH, SC (WCSC) - Folly Beach police are looking into an apparent hit-and-run that happened early Sunday morning.

Police say the victim was walking along the street when a car hit him and drove away. The victim is in intensive care.

According to the victim's sister, he has a broken leg, broken hip, punctured lungs and several fractured ribs. Family say the man is in stable condition.

The victim says it happened so fast he didn't get a good look at the car that hit him.

The family is offering a $1,000 reward for information on the identity of the driver. Call Crime Stoppers at 554-1111 if you have any information.
