Man, woman injured in motor cycle wreck

NORTH CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - A man and a woman were injured in a motor cycle accident early Tuesday morning.

North Charleston police officers responded to a motorcycle accident on Elms Plantation Boulevard around 2:30 a.m. where they found a male subject under a motorcycle in some high shrubbery and a female lying beside him.   

According to police, the female was transported to MUSC in serious condition. The male subject appeared to be suffering from bruising, cuts and scrapes.

The cause of the accident is under investigation.
