Deputies: Summerville Chinese restaurant robbed at gunpoint

SUMMERVILLE, SC (WCSC) - The Berkeley County sheriff's office is looking for two men that robbed a Chinese food restaurant around Wednesday night.

According to the sheriff's office, two black males entered the China Chef located at 1672 North Main Street, held a gun to an employee and stole her Gucci wallet and money from the cash register.

The employee told police that the men's faces were covered and they were wearing all black. She said her wallet contained credit cards, her social security card, green card, driver's license and cash.

She said the men took the money and exited through the back door of the restaurant. A Pizza Hut delivery driver advised police that he observed a silver car come around the back side of the building and almost hit her car.

The investigation is ongoing.
