Timberland football game postponed after bomb threat

ST. STEPHEN, SC (WCSC) - The football game between Timberland and Hanahan High Schools was rescheduled after the Berkeley County sheriff's office received a call concerning a reported bomb threat at the football stadium.

According to the Berkeley County sheriff's office, the call came in a little after 8:30 p.m. and the area was evacuated and a search was initiated.

School officials made the decision to postpone the game until Saturday afternoon at 3 p.m.

The Berkeley County Sheriff's Office is continuing to investigate this incident.
