Coroner says SC man dies in farm accident

TOWNVILLE, SC (AP) - A 61-year-old South Carolina man has died after being pulled into a hay baler.

Anderson County Coroner Greg Shore told WYFF-TV of Greenville that James Boleman Jr. died Friday. Shore said Boleman died from asphyxiation and massive injuries.

Friend Tom Dobbins told the television station that Boleman had worked for years as the head of purchasing at Clemson University and was a member of the Townville Fire Department.

Dobbins said Boleman enjoyed working with young people.
