COLUMBIA, SC (WCSC) - An Orangeburg man Wednesday was charged with four gun and drug charges in federal court, said US attorney Bill Nettles.

Terrance Lamont Bonnett, 27, was charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, possession and distribution of marijuana, possession with intent to distribute marijuana, cocaine and crack cocaine, and possessing a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime.

The charges carry maximum penalties between $250,000 and $1 million in fines and five to 10 years in prison.

Nettles said ATF agents investigated the case.
