Charleston police search for suspect in Habitat trailer theft

CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - Detectives with the Charleston Police Department are looking for Bridgette Antoni Polensky in connection with the theft of a trailer loaded with building supplies belonging to Habitat for Humanity.

Police say that the trailer went missing from a residence on Genesis Street sometime between August 14 and 15.  The trailer had eight pre-cut window openings and two pre-cut door openings on it.

Polensky is wanted for property crime enhancement and obtaining goods by false pretense.  Police say Polensky has used addresses in Charleston County, North Charleston, and on Johns Island.  Anyone knowing the whereabouts of Polensky is asked to call Investigator York at (843) 720-3916.
