NORTH CHARLESTON, SC (AP) - It's a dog day afternoon on the South Carolina coast giving Rover a chance to cool off in the dog days of summer.
On Sunday, the Whirlin' Waters Adventure Waterpark at Wannamaker County Park in North Charleston planned to open its pools to man's best friend.
It's the second annual Dog Day Afternoon at the park in which larger dogs can cool off in a 27,000-square foot wave pool while smaller dogs can splash around in the kiddie pool.
And it's dogs only - humans aren't allowed into the water.
Owners had to show Fido had been vaccinated before being allowed in the pool.
