24-hour vigil begins Thursday for POW/MIAs

NORTH CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - Two days of ceremonies begin Thursday in North Charleston to honor former prisoners of war and those missing in action.

A 24-hour vigil begins at 3:30 p.m. Thursday at Joint Base Charleston. There will also be a luncheon in their honor Friday.

After that, there will be a wreath-laying ceremony by the flagpole for POW/MIAs.
