SUMMERVILLE, SC (WCSC) - A registered sex offender was arrested Monday during a routine visit to his Summerville home by South Carolina probation and parole agents.

Aaron Taylor Lee, 26, of 195 Wickford Court in Summerville, was arrested for violating his probation and for being in possession of child pornography, according to probation and parole agents.

A spokesman for the Department of Probation and Parole in Columbia said the visit to Lee's home was made after "an issue with a polygraph test."

During the visit, agents say they found CDs containing child pornography.

Authorities also seized Lee's computer which will be checked for more illegal pornographic images.

"Shocked, shocked that after trying to assist him on probation that he would continue to engage in this type of activity," said probation and parole agent Christina Debello, who supervises Lee.

As a result, Lee was charged with one count of sexual exploitation of a minor and violating his probation. As part of his probation, Lee was not allowed to have a computer, and was not allowed to have access to the internet.

Lee is a registered sex offender and served prison time for third degree sexual exploitation of a minor. He was convicted in March 2007 and received a 10-year suspended sentence and served 90 days in jail with five years probation.

Lee has been under intense sex offender supervision since March 9, 2007.
