Berkeley County Sheriff seeks suspect in Country Club burglaries

MONCKS CORNER, SC (WCSC) - The Berkeley County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in identifying a suspect in several burglaries that have occurred recently in the Country Club community.  The community is located off Old Highway 52 in Moncks Corner.

During one of the robberies, a silver 2000 Lincoln Navigator was taken.  A credit/debit card had been left in the vehicle, and the suspect made several purchases with the card before the owner realized it had been stolen.

The man police believe to be the suspect in the case was caught on surveillance cameras at one location where he tried to use the card.  The man was seen leaving in a white Ford Escape.  The man is a white male believed to be in his early twenties.
