NORTH CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - Police say someone threw fire bombs at a house and car early Tuesday morning in an attempt to set the house on fire.

The car parked outside the Fetteressa home was destroyed.

According to a police report, arson investigators found two bottles of an apparent oily flammable liquid at the scene.

Just a few hours before the fire bombing call, police were called to the same house for a domestic violence call.

Police say a man accused his girlfriend of talking to another man on the phone. He apparently sat on her and punched her twice in the eye.

Officers say the suspect ran down West Montague Avenue.

No arrests have been made and police don't know if the two incidents are connected.
