Widespread Panic parking and show information

NORTH CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - Widespread Panic will play a show at the North Charleston Coliseum on Saturday, October 2.  The show will be an indoor and outdoor event with a festival feel.  Other artists performing at the show include Yonder Mountain String Band, Dead Confederate, The Movement and Leslie.  This will be a first of its kind event for the Coliseum.

With the large crowds expected to attend, officials are asking concert-goers to arrive early and carpool if possible.  Parking lots will open at 11 a.m., and the music will start outside at 2:30 p.m.  The indoor music starts at 6 p.m.  The tentative schedule for the day is as follows:

  • 11:00 AM                    Parking lots open
  • 2:30-3:15 PM               Leslie (outside in Lot "A")
  • 3:30- 4:30 PM              The Movement (outside in  Lot "A")
  • 5:00 PM                       Coliseum Doors Open
  • 6:00- 6:45 PM              Dead Confederate
  • 7:15-8:30 PM               Yonder Mountain String Band
  • 9:00 PM                       Widespread Panic

Tickets for the concert are available at the Coliseum Advance Ticket Office, Ticketmaster outlets , charge by phone at 1-800-745-3000, or online at ticketmaster.com.

    Emergency officials say police are working a high speed pursuit in North Charleston Wednesday evening.  According to authorities, it happened on Ashley Phosphate.  A call for the incident originated in the 5400 block of Rock Creek Court where police responded to a physical disturbance involving a weapon, emergency officials said.  We've reached out to police for more information.  Copyright 2018 WCSC.
