RAVENEL, SC (WCSC) - The public is invited to a day of polo between two local teams that will benefit Debi's Kids and the Salvation Army Angel Tree. Proceeds from the event will go to purchase Christmas gifts for underprivileged kids in the Charleston area.
The competition between the Hyde Park Polo Club and High Cotton takes place on October 3 at Hyde Park Farm in Ravenel. State Legislator Chip Limehouse will take part in the match.
Spectators are encouraged to pack a picnic lunch and a blanket or chair for seating. The cost is $10 per vehicle. The gates open at 1 p.m. and the match starts at 3. Hyde Park Farm is located at 6763 Davis Road.
