Summerville Chinese restaurant robbed

SUMMERVILLE, SC (WCSC) – Another Chinese restaurant was robbed over the weekend.

According to police, the Chinese Palace on Highway 78 in Summerville was robbed around 9:30 p.m. Saturday.

According to Summerville police, a store employee said that two black males wearing all black, including gloves and ski masks, came in through the back of the store. They pointed a small gun at her and demanded money.

Nearly a dozen Chinese restaurants in the Charleston area have been robbed over the past few months. Police say the robberies could be related, but have not made any connections yet.

As of now, no arrests have been made in Saturday night's robbery.
