Father arrested after police say he boarded school bus, made threats

GOOSE CREEK, SC (WCSC) - Goose Creek police have arrested the father accused of boarding a school bus and threatening a 7-year-old boy last week.

Timothy James Capazzi has been charged with assault and battery in the third degree. According to Goose Creek police, Capazzi entered a school bus while it was at a bus stop at 601 Old State Road and made verbal threats to harm a young boy on the school bus.

According to the warrant, Capazzi told the student victim to stand up or he would hit him. Police say that Capazzi claims the boy assaulted his son the previous day on the bus.

The driver of the school bus put out a distress call to the Goose Creek Transportation Department and an investigation by Goose Creek was conducted. Police say the angry father refused to get off the bus and the bus driver shut the bus doors until authorities arrived.
