Suspected high-tech thief caught robbing Georgetown Walmart

GEORGETOWN, SC (WCSC) - A suspected thief went high tech on a Georgetown Walmart Monday.

According to police, 39-year-old Frank Collins was shoplifting from the Walmart on North Fraser Street.

Police say they stopped Collins as he was leaving and found a stolen alpha security systems security key on him.

The key is used to remove the "spider wrap" security devices that Walmart uses to protect electronic equipment.

Collins was charged with possession of a master key and possession of stolen property.
