Greenberg building reopened after being closed for 2 days

CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) – Charleston city court is back in session after being closed for the past two days.

The city of Charleston municipal court, Department of Motor Vehicles, the Department of Traffic and Transportation, Revenue Collections and the prosecutor's office will all be reopened Thursday.

On Tuesday, an elevator malfunction at the Greenberg municipal building on Lockwood Boulevard caused a foul smell and the building was closed for two days.

City officials say that the building has been cleaned and the fumes are gone.
