CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) – South Carolina residents will be paying more at the pump this week as the average price for a gallon of gas in S.C. climbs to $2.61.
AAA expects gas prices to remain static for the rest of the year because of weak overall demand.
In West Ashley, the BP on Savannah Highway and Wappoo Road is under the average at $2.56 The Sunoco on Remount Road is $2.55.
Gas prices in Mt. Pleasant area little higher. The price per gallon at the Shell on Coleman Boulevard is $2.59. On Sullivan's Island, the BP station is $2.69 per gallon.
