Four candidates file to replace Williams as Orangeburg County sheriff

ORANGEBURG, SC (WCSC) – Four men have filed for the Orangeburg County sheriff's race. Filing is open until Oct. 18.

The candidates are Leroy Ravenel, Marnard Clarkson, John Coakley and Russell "Rusty" Collier.

The primary will be held Dec. 7 to fill the spot left by Larry Williams who died last month. The special election will be held Jan. 25.
