FOLLY BEACH, SC (WCSC) – The Charleston County Sheriff's Office is investigating allegations that a former Folly Beach police sergeant sent inappropriate texts and images to women he met while working.
Sgt. Brian Kale was fired Oct. 5 because of an internal matter. He had been with the police department for 11 years.
The Charleston County Sheriff's Office is now investigating these allegations. Major John Clark says the alleged messages were sent from a personal phone.
According to the incident report, Folly Beach Public Safety asked the sheriff's office to investigate after receiving several complaints about the officer.
