CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - Charleston police are looking for a man wanted for Peeping Tom and resisting arrest charges. He is also accused of stealing Kate and Tom Waring's credit cards and was supposed to testify in the high profile murder trial.

Charleston police are looking for 27-year-old Tristan Anthony Cheek. According to a defense attorney in the Ethan Mack murder trial, Cheek was supposed to testify, but refused, telling attorneys to come and find him.

A victim reported to police that an unidentified white male was looking through her window on several occassions. On Aug. 25, the victim and her roommate observed the suspect looking through their back porch sliding glass door. When the suspect saw them looking at him, the victim said he hid behind a tree. When the victim went outside to confront him, he fled.

On Sept. 7, the victim observed the suspect again looking through the back porch sliding glass door. She called police and he fled, only to return once police left. On Sept. 18 she saw him again.

The victim also advised police that on several other occasions the subject approached her at the pool and asked her random questions. She said he would also come and sit 5 feet away from her and stare at her by the pool without saying anything. The victim also told police that he would often show up at her residence without his shirt on.

If you have any information about Cheek, please call Charleston Police at 577-7434 or Crime Stoppers at 554-1111.
