DANIEL ISLAND, SC (WCSC) – A worker at the Family Circle Cup survived a close call Monday after he got stuck underneath a forklift.
According to Charleston police, officers responded to the sports stadium because a 25-year-old employee fell underneath a forklift. Police say he was riding on the forks of a forklift when he slid off and went under the front end of the forklift. The forklift was driving forward at the time of the accident.
The victim's leg was then pinned down, but he never lost consciousness and was transported to MUSC for his injuries.
