ISLE OF PALMS, SC (WCSC) - Leaders on the Isle of Palms are turning to the public before rendering a final decision on charging additional parking fees.
The decision to seek further public input was made during their meeting Tuesday night. According to officials at City Hall, the city is planning to schedule several meetings where they can hear from the public.
Those meetings could start as early as December.
City leaders said reports that the parking fees had passed a vote in Tuesday's meeting were untrue.
